Misconceptions of Indianapolis, IN. Just tonight I wondered what they teach the students in England about Indiana? do they think its all cornfields too? Like everyone else does in the other 49 states? If they do, its such a shame.

I’d be surprised if students in England talk about Indiana at all.

What are you talking about? There’s “Indiana 101” on the first day of EVERY SCHOOL YEAR.

They don’t talk about Indiana at all in Canada. I wasn’t sure where it was till I actually was planning my trip here. They don’t talk about most states in high school classes so don’t feel bad.

This may be the best Poutine in Indiana! Once Jack heard of a food truck that carried poutine, I absolutely had to track it down. The Scratch Truck is a comfort food truck that mostly hangs around broadripple. The fries were super tasty and the curds were the closest I’ve had since Canmore.
The thing that differs this poutine from others is that they mix all of the ingredients together before serving it, and then add spices on top of it. It makes it so there isn’t too much sauce in it and all of the cheese is melted.
Next time I have a poutine craving I’m sure going to look up where the Scratch Truck is parked.

the weather is weird here

I’m used to having blizzards and -20 Celsius degrees at this time of year. I hope this lasts till spring! I hate winter and snow. I would move to Hawaii if I could.

This morning there was a thunder storm. In winter.

And the little snow we had is gone now.

I do miss how pretty the city gets when it’s covered in snow.

Took another long walk yesterday. I thought this fountain was pretty.

pimping out Jack’s senior exhibition

If you’re in or around Indianapolis, you should come to Jack’s senior exhibition.

Just look at this amazing card! It alone would make me want to go.
